Thought for Christmas

The King of kings and the Lord of lords, the only Begotten of the Father was born in a stable, raised by a poor carpenter, teased by his brothers, and was virtually homeless, practically penniless. He was deserted by his friends, insulted in a kangaroo court, mocked, beaten, stripped, bruised, then crucified. To us it is a scenario that makes little sense.
